SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Support Assistant - SN2

My client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a named pupil with additional needs at a vibrant and nurturing primary school. This role is available on a named-pupil contract working for 27.5 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop positive relationships with children to support their learning and emotional growth.
Provide one-on-one and group interventions to support a named pupil with SEND.
Collaborate with teachers and the SENDCo to address children’s progress and barriers.
Follow individual support plans and engage with relevant training to enhance your skills.
Assist with classroom organization, administrative tasks, and creating an engaging learning environment.
Supervise children during playtimes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Administer first aid as needed and report incidents following school policies.
