My client is looking for a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant with lunchtime responsibilities, ready to play a vital role in the emotional and educational growth of young learners. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting individual and small groups of pupils with special educational needs.
  • Helping children develop confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assisting in lesson planning, delivery, and behaviour support.
  • Supporting the emotional wellbeing of pupils and encouraging social development.
  • Maintaining accurate records and liaising with teachers, SENDCo, and parents.
  • Providing inclusive support during lunchtime duties and ensuring pupil safety.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Have experience working with primary-aged pupils with additional needs.
  • Understand and respect the highly confidential nature of the role.
  • Hold (or be working toward) a Level 3 qualification in childcare—desirable but not essential.
  • Capable of supporting multilingual or bilingual pupils to access the curriculum.
