Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant - SN2

My client is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide extra support to children, helping them reach their full potential. If you’re someone who can adapt to meet the needs of children with ASD and speech and language difficulties, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in their lives. This role is available on a full-time basis for 25 hours per week on a Fixed-Term Contract initially.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting teaching and learning 1:1, 1:2, and in small groups, tracking progress.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of each child.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide well-rounded support.
  • Creating a nurturing, safe space with high expectations for all students.
  • Working closely with a professional team to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
