We are seeking passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work in and around the Swindon area. This role will involve working closely with students across KS3 to KS4, supporting students individual learning needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with additional needs, ensuring they are fully engaged in lessons.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans, adapting activities to meet the emotional and behavioural needs of each child.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, helping them feel supported and understood.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a holistic learning environment.
  • Manage challenging behaviour with confidence, patience, and a calm approach.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND, specifically Autism Spectrum Conditions and behavioural difficulties.
  • Confidence in supporting students from KS3 - KS4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with children.
