- Maths & English teaching vacancies (2 roles)
I have worked closely with a brilliant special school in Swindon for the last few years and they are looking for 2 teachers to join them ideally for as soon as possible on a long-term basis. The school are a secondary site that look after students with SEMH & other special needs.
The school provide valuable support to families in Swindon and consistently receive positive feedback from parents of students that attend the school.
The roles
So they are looking for an English Teacher & a Maths Teacher - so clearly experience in these 2 subjects is essential. The roles will be leading classes in these subjects to at least a GCSE standard - so a solid understanding/knowledge f the curriculum is important.
The school are able to be flexible for the right candidate, so they are open to people wanting full teaching responsibilities or whether you'd prefer to simply lead cover. You must feel confident in working with challenging behaviour and with secondary aged students.
