We are recruiting for a Procurement Partner to work on a 3-4 day a week contract for 3 months.

Mainly working from home, there may be odd instances the candidate might need to come go to their operating area but they would look to make the role as virtual as possible. It’s likely to be definitely four or less days per week and this will be determined at the interview stage. They typically work 8.30 am until 5.00 pm, however there’s lots of flexibility to allow for appointments, school pick up/drop etc.

The main criteria for this contract is below, and we are looking for someone who has demonstrated these capabilities in a previous Procurement hire. You will also have Public Sector Procurement knowledge and in depth understanding and application of UK Public Sector Procurement regulations, and relevant legislation.

  • Lead a comprehensive review and redesign of professional services categories, including legal services and consultancy.
  • Assessing readiness for the Procurement Act 2023 and developing compliant procurement procedures and templates.
  • Support pre-market engagement activities for IT software procurement.
