The commercial life cycle of everything we sell is the responsibility of our merchandising department. Each team member is a specialist in a specific product area, and on any given day they may be tracking stock, organising our supply chain or analysing sales and margins. They're big fans of spreadsheets, continually looking at data to help us make the right decisions, and then passing their findings on to the rest of the company.
We are offering a great opportunity to kick-start your career in retail within Merchandising as we search for a Merchandising Assistant to join our team. You'll amass lots of commercial experience with a luxury designer brand well known across UK and Europe for its beautiful home furnishings. Not only will you deal with suppliers around the world but you'll also work closely with our own supply chain, which starts with our talented manufacturing team in Asia.

It's not all about number crunching though. As you begin your journey into the world of merchandising at Neptune, here's just a few of the important skills we are looking for:

- Confident interpersonal skills will really help too, as you'll communicate with lots of people who are critical to ensuring that goods are received on time.

Our Story
Founded in 1996 by friends John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune design and make pieces for the whole home. Recognised for our exacting standards, design-led aesthetic and expert craftsmanship, we're perhaps most known for kitchens - with heirloom-worthy dressers not far behind. Neptune's trademark 'look' is British: refined, simple, sturdy, and with an almost obsessive attention to detail. We're also respected for our commitment to craft and quality. Put simply, we make things we're proud of, and that are designed to last a lifetime.
