Our client is seeking a Repairs Surveyor to oversee works on 10,000 tenanted homes, 3000 garages and 700 corporate and commercial premises. Initial 6 months contract with possibility of extension.

You will assist in managing the day to day repairs, and managing the safety inspection programme.

You will undertake surveys to diagnose gas service faults, raise works orders, and support neighbourhood officers when faced with access issues, including providing evidence for courts where required.

Applicants will need:

2 years minimum experience of building surveying and inspection including contract administration.

Knowledge of construction methods.

Knowledge of building faults.

Understanding of how to work effectively with non-technical staff, tenants, leaseholders, and generally delivering a customer focussed service.

Good knowledge of H&S legislation.

MS Word & Excel experience.

Drivers licence essential.
