Qualified Window Fitter

Outskirts of Swindon

Salary is negotiable

Hours - 8.00am - 5.00pm

Experience within the window industry is essential!

Due to expansion we are recruiting for a Qualified Window Fitter to join our client based on the outskirts of Swindon.

Main Responsibilities

  • Fitting UPVC Windows, Doors, Patio Doors, Bi Fold Doors, Composite Doors
  • Installing Conservatories and Porches
  • Installing Fascia, Soffits and Guttering
  • Installing secondary glazing

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Fenestration Installation
  • You will have had previous window and door fitting experience either as a leader installer or part of a team.
  • Full UK Valid Driving Licence and a full set of hand tools
  • Must have a high standard of fitting ability and be able to finish off to a very high standard
  • Must be conscientious and reliable
  • Knowledge of building and construction
  • To be thorough and pay attention to detail
  • The ability to work well with others
  • Ambition and a desire to succeed
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Persistence and determination
  • Knowledge of maths
  • The ability to work well with your hands
