Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative, preferably with a forklift license, for a temporary to permanent position.
The role requires working Monday to Friday from 10am to 6:30pm, with a pay rate starting at £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12.21 per hour on April 6, 2025.
The position is based in Chelworth Industrial Estate, SN6 6HE, so candidates must have their own transport due to the location.
Candidates should have experience in a busy warehouse environment and be physically fit, as the role involves being on your feet all day.
A valid forklift license is preferred, but candidates willing to undergo training will also be considered.

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (preferably with Forklift) on a temporary to permanent basis.

About the Warehouse Operative /Forklift Driver Role:

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10am-6.30pm
Pay rate is £11.44ph, rising to £12.21ph on 6th April 2025
Based in Chelworth Industrial Estate, SN6 6HE (due to location you will need your own transport)
Temporary to Permanent role
Immediate start

Duties / Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver Role:

Assisting in busy fulfilment department
Filling pods (work area) with stock
Emptying conveyor belt of packed stock into relevant areas
Disposing of recycled packaging, emptying bins
Operating forklift truck(s) to load / unload lorries
Assisting with any other duties where required

Experience / Skills required for the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver role:

A valid forklift licence(s) is preferable for this role, if not willingness to undertake training.
Experience of working in a busy warehouse operation
Be physically fit as this is a busy role and you will be on your feet all day
