We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our client based in Swindon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute MIG welding tasks with precision; TIG welding experience is a plus.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Operate handheld, powered tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members whilst also being capable of working independently.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain excellent timekeeping and adhere to production deadlines.
- Produce high-quality work while working within tight tolerances.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of fully qualified experience as a welder/fabricator.
- Proven experience as a coded welder.
- Familiarity with BS EN 1090 welding procedures is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A valid driving licence is essential due to our rural location.
Experience Required:
- Fabricating: 3 years (mandatory)
- MIG Welding: Required
- TIG Welding: Preferred
- Forklift operation: Preferred
