Are you looking for a rewarding new opportunity as a Special Needs Teacher to support SEN learners?

Do you have Special Needs Experience working with Primary and/or Secondary learners? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a Mainstream Primary School from after April Half Term 2025. It is an exciting time to join a fantastic school which has a dedicated Resource Base for their SEN learners. You will become part of a dedicated and friendly team of SEN staff, committed to providing the very best in special education.

The provision is a 24 place resource base where you would be teaching a small class of early years aged children with autism and similar communication needs. Some of the interventions used include: Lego Therapy, Attention Autism, Zones of Reflection, Sensory Play and Animal Therapy!

As a Special Needs Teacher you will;

  • work part of a specialist team to lead class groups as an EYFS Special Needs Teacher in all aspects of the curriculum
  • prepare and deliver inspirational and creative lessons
  • deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and make a broader positive contribution to school life
  • promote a love of learning and enable our pupils to make progress towards positive academic and EHCP outcomes

We'd love to hear from you if;

  • you have qualified teacher status in the UK and/ or experienced Special Needs Teacher from overseas
  • you are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential
  • you have experience working with SEN learners as a Special Needs Teacher
  • you have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • you are able to think creatively and engage positively with learners with a broad range of complex needs
