General Foreman

General Foreman.

We are looking for a General Foreman to join us on sewer treatment works based in the Leicester area.

Duties: 

• Ensuring the correct setup and organisation of site
• Ensuring that Risk Assessments are carried out daily and all SHE requirements are undertaken to maintain a consistent, safe delivery of service.  
• Delegating work within your team
• Meeting regularly with other managers to report on progress
• Setting targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff
• Conducting site visits to inspect work, check materials and ensure staff are following health and safety guidelines
• Dealing with contracts and mitigating the impact of any issues
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge in earthworks, civils, ducting and drainage.
• SMSTS or SSSTS 
• CSCS card
