Job Title: Quality Manager

Salary: 40k - 45k

Shift: Mon - Thurs (44hr week)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager to lead and manage quality assurance activities across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100 standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic quality initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure conformance to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100 standards.
  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the QMS.
  • Ensure audits are conducted regularly and according to schedule.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement (CI) and lead process improvement projects.
  • Oversee the introduction of new products and their associated quality processes.
  • Manage APQP, PPAP, and FMEA processes for new products.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and audits to drive improvements.
  • Collect and analyse data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on quality performance, audit findings, and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and foster a safe working environment.
  • Create, implement, and maintain quality system and process documentation.

Skills and experience required:

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
  • Extensive experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100.
  • Experience in new product introduction, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and product development.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement certifications (Preferred).
