Senior Commercial Account Manager - North Yorkshire / Hybrid

Are you an outgoing, confident Senior Commercial Account Manager with experience of leading large corporate customers to ensure SLA’s are met and KPI’s are achieved?

Are you of graduate calibre, BSc/BA/ MSc/ MA in relevant field such as business administration, finance?

Do you have a track record of working well at all levels selling largely services in a service lead industry such as drinks distribution/services or facilities?

Can you champion the service provision of our client’s business, to influence the strategy for commercial opportunities linked to growth and development opportunities largely with an existing customer base (hospitality)?

What does the role involve?

  • The Senior Commercial Account Manager is responsible for our clients’ relationships with their existing customer base and will spot opportunities to support growth in their marketplace, showcasing the development of new services and drive the continuous improvement of the services our client provides.
  • The role is to assist the incoming CCO in planning, developing and implementing commercial strategies to support business development and our clients near-term and future growth.
  • You will be a voice for your customers to ensure that they remain at the centre of the decisions our client makes.
  • You will be proactive in leading Service level agreements and ensuring key performance indicators are met!
  • You will perform regular customer reviews on performance, monthly/quarterly and manage and minute these meetings ensuring all actions are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Your key part to play being a Senior Commercial Account Manager will be maximizing opportunities to develop existing customer relationships and help the growth into adjacent markets when required.
  • Driving growth and margin will be the core of what you are about and where your experience lies.
  • Your success will be key to your growth with this developing business, and this is a key role to support the growth of their commercial function, now and for future more senior opportunities.
  • You will be a fantastic stakeholder and be comfortable managing up and down to spot commercial opportunities.
  • You will be comfortable delivering key project work to ensure the operations team know what is expected and required of them and that they deliver to their commitments and project deadlines.
  • Simplification in processes and efficiencies to help reduce costs will also be a key aspect to what you have achieved so far career to date.
  • You will be comfortable be an escalation point for key issues and develop a positive working relationship to support growth and win new business.
  • You must have experience of managing large corporate accounts in a service lead industry!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also a must, with a quiet ambition for self-development and future growth would also be well received.
  • You will be flexible, adaptable and able to work in a complex "Hands-on" fast paced environment.
  • An existing Account Manage that has experience in all the above would be well received ideally in a service focused sector.
