Civil Enforcement Officer - Local Authority

Location: EX39 2QG
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ months
Working Hours: Monday - Sunday, 37 hours per week, Shift pattern
Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Civil Enforcement Officer to join our team, working specifically in car parks across the Torridge District. This role requires working in all weather conditions and includes weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a good understanding of the Traffic Management Act 2004.

Key Responsibilities:

Enforce parking regulations within designated car parks.
Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) for violations.
Patrol car parks to ensure compliance with parking rules.
Provide information and assistance to the public regarding parking regulations.
Use handheld devices to issue fines and report violations.
Document and report incidents accurately.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role (desirable).
Knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Flexibility to work weekends.
PPE will be provided.
DBS Check essential.
