Overview
We are seeking a qualified CNC Trumpfor Amada Laser Programmer/Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a state-of-the-art Amada EML 2515 fibre laser combination machine, as well as previous experience with Amada machines, laser, and waterjet.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Trumpf or Amada EML 2515 fibre laser combination machine.
- Ensure the machine meets production goals and quality standards.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate cutting specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machine, including cleaning and checking for any necessary repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience programming, setting up, and operating Amada machines, laser, and waterjet.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Day-to-Day
- Program, set up, and operate the Amada EML 2515 fibre laser combination machine.
- Review engineering drawings and cutting specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machine.
- Communicate with team members to ensure production goals are met.
Rate and Shift
- The rate for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
- Shift is 4pm to midnight Monday to Friday with plenty of overtime.
