SITE HSE COORDINATOR

Carbon60 are looking for a Site HSE Coordinator to work for an electrical / construction company based in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to join an Electrical Contracting company with great culture of development.

ROLE: Site HSE Coordinator
LOCATION: Reading (RG7)
SALARY: 40,000 per annum
JOB TYPE: ongoing - potential temp to perm
HOURS: Flexible, 37.5 hours per week, hybrid - 3 days on site.

THE ROLE:

  • Ensuring environmental compliance and control measures are in place.
  • Supporting site electrical and construction teams with producing company and client compliant risk assessments.
  • Conducting construction site work around to ensure compliance with site requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of SHE activities, inspections, and audits, utilising DepotNet.
  • Coordinating changes to staff certificates and provide support for accreditation and memberships using online portals as necessary.


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Comprehensive understanding of SHEQ regulations and standards.
  • Being able to pass site Security Clearance (SC).
  • Familiarity with industry-specific SHEQ challenges and solutions.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks across various operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Ideally from a construction, Electrical Engineering or DNO background.
