Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee and lead projects within the nuclear sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design and construction phases of new plant installations, as well as modifications to existing plants. This role requires comprehensive knowledge and application of Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations, HAZOP studies, and the entire project lifecycle, including LC19 Construction or Installation of New Plant, LC20 Modifications to Design of Plant Under Construction, and LC22 Modification processes. The Engineering Manager will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently while maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Skills:
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Extensive experience in nuclear engineering projects
  • Proficiency in project lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM)
  • Expertise in HAZOP studies
  • Familiarity with LC19, LC20, and LC22 processes
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate sub-contractors
  • Experience in budget monitoring and commercial awareness
  • Understanding of Health & Safety legislation
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
