Tadley Court School are recruiting for a Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our support team! We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the homes and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance. The hours of work would either be 5.30am-10.30am or 6.00am to 11.00am.

Tadley Court school is set in a beautiful semi rural location with four acres of well maintained grounds. We are a day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

We offer a safe, structured and predictable environment where students can develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible allowing them to make real life choices as they approach and reach adulthood.

Due to the location of the service, candidate's must have their own transport.

The successful candidate will have experience of daily cleaning schedules and ensure appropriate paperwork in completed , along with the following characteristics:

Communication – During your role your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.

Organisation – As well as supervising the staff team, you’ll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.

Attentive – No two jobs will be the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important.
