Overview
We are looking to recruit a time-served TIG (tungsten inert gas) welder to join our clients team. As a TIG welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our welding processes.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams to plan TIG welding operations
- Set up welding equipment and select the appropriate welding techniques for each job
- TIG weld steel, aluminum, and other materials with precision and attention to detail
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a TIG welder
- Proficient in reading and interpreting welding blueprints and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices
- Certification in TIG welding is a plus
Day-to-day
As a TIG welder, you will spend your days carefully examining blueprints, setting up welding equipment, and using your expertise to produce high-quality welds. You will collaborate with team members and utilize your precision and attention to detail to ensure that our welding processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Package
- 16 - 20 per hour depending on experience
- Permanent day shift, 39 hours a week
