Part-Time Housekeeper Cook Position in Amherst, Surrey (KT20)An informal British family living in a recently renovated 7-bedroom, 3-floor house Amherst, Surrey are looking for a part time housekeeper cook to work 3 full days a week.They have 4 children aged 4-14years.Position Details:They are seeking a reliable and efficient part-time housekeeper who enjoys cooking to help maintain the home and provide meals. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and can take initiative without needing much direction. The key responsibilities include:
- General Cleaning: Maintaining cleanliness throughout the house, including all rooms across the three floors.
- Laundry and Ironing: Washing, ironing, and organising clothes for the entire family, dry cleaning runs when needed.
- Meal Preparation: Preparing dinners three days a week - the family particularly enjoy Indian and Thai flavours.
- Specialist Material Care: Understanding that there are surfaces such as marble and wood that will require careful handling and attention.
Working Hours:The family are flexible with the schedule and are open to discussing options such as:
- Mon / Weds / Fri
- 5 hours spread over five days.
Salary + Other:Open to self employed or employed. £20-£25 per hour.Driving isn't required for the role but might be useful in order to get to work.DBS + References required.
