Job Title: Electrician
Reporting to: Senior Engineer
Location: Tadworth
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: 42.5k plus great benefits
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with occasional weekend work
Job Description: The Electrician will use their experience and skills to maintain and repair electrical systems across the estate, ensuring safety and compliance with current standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs
- Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), RCD checks, emergency light tests, and annual drop tests
- Generate minor works and electrical installation certificates
- Inspect and test electrical installations
- Work with steel wired armour (SWA) and install external lights
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Coordinate with other tradespeople and contractors
- Respond to service calls and emergencies
- Use CAFM and tablet systems for task management
Qualifications:
- Approved Electrician with ECS Gold Card
- Qualification in inspection and testing
Additional Duties:
- Support other maintenance tasks as assigned
- Supervise and monitor external contractors
- Participate in on-call duties

- Maintain qualifications and skills through professional development
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Ensure compliance with H&S standards for water and piped oxygen systems
Essential criteria
Approved Electrician with ECS gold card.
