Description
- Analyse financial data to provide accurate and timely insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of business decisions.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing relevant financial data and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and provide insights on performance.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to track business performance.
Profile
- May be studying towards an Accountancy qualification.
- May have previous experience working as a Finance Analyst.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in a finance or analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
Job Offer
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000
