Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a Value Tracking & Continuous Improvement Leader for a prestigious manufacturing client in Walton Oaks.

This presents an excellent opportunity for highly motivated, experienced professionals who enjoy working closely with Procurement Category & Commodity Teams, Supply Chain and Finance Leaders teams to develop robust standardised processes and deliver accurate data to the Segments and ABU's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Price & cash forecasting.
  • Own monthly and quarterly segment price forecasting process including direct materials and in-directs commodity, savings and cash generation.
  • Generate monthly Material Key Drivers reports to give each Segments/ABU's visibility of Direct Materials, Energy and Logistics price forecasts and associated spend variances.
  • Maintain close, co-operative relationships with Procurement and Segment/ABU key business partners.
  • Manage communications with the Segment/ABU finance teams and internal business partners.
  • Ensure that internal control requirements are met in an efficient and effective manner.
  • In addition to the Price & Cash Forecasting responsibilities you will provide additional support in to the Procurement Organisation through value creation enable work, cost and cash program governance and continuous improvement activities.
  • As the Procurement Lead in this space, you will be responsible for working with the amplified commodity and direct & indirect category teams to ensure the provision of accurate regional price forecasting data for key commodities and services along with savings and cash generation forecasting, in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Supporting external and internal bench-marking and value pipeline build activities.
  • Support the development of standard work and relevant training materials for the organisation.
  • Assist the overall Cost & Cash governance with category teams.
  • Providing support with other Continuous Improvement Projects to simplify, standardise, automate.

Personal Attributes:

  • Experience in Direct Materials Procurement would be advantageous.
  • Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • Problem solving experience in simplifying and standardising processes.
  • Strong financial skill set and understanding of BU and Enterprise forecasting processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in stakeholder management
