We have an exciting opportunity for a locum or permanent position at our specialist facility in Tadworth, Surrey, working with children and young people affected by brain injuries.
The Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation for children with acquired or traumatic brain injuries. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help young patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapy programmes.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from Occupational Therapists with paediatric or adult experience, particularly those with a background in neurological rehabilitation or brain injury care. If you have worked with adults and are keen to transition into paediatrics, we can offer training and support to help you adapt to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct specialist assessments and develop individualised therapy plans
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and the wider clinical team
- Support patients in developing motor, sensory, and cognitive skills
- Provide advice on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Deliver therapy in both clinical and community settings
About You
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist (paediatric or adult experience welcome)
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation and brain injury care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about making a positive impact on patientsā lives
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting
