Are you a Secondary SEMH Teacher who can hit the ground running in a dynamic educational environment?! If you are this role will be perfect for you. This role requires a qualified teacher who is passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary students with SEMH needs.
- Implement strategies to support the emotional and behavioural development of students.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEMH provision.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in teaching secondary level students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive approach and the ability to adapt quickly to the needs of the students.
