We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator to engage with children, young people, and their families to deliver a range of support aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing. This role involves a combination of advice, signposting, one-to-one sessions, groups, workshops, and online and telephone interventions.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assess the needs and strengths of referred children or young people and help them identify goals to achieve desired change.
  • Deliver and assist with the evaluation of interventions aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing, building resilience, and celebrating progress.
  • Manage a caseload of children, young people, and families, some with complex and multiple needs, with support from senior staff.
  • Record and collect data using tools such as goal-based outcomes (GBOs) to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborate with partner organisations to provide effective service for children, young people, and families.
  • Keep accurate records of individual engagement and report the appropriate data for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Apply safeguarding and child protection procedures and contribute to written case studies as evidence of intervention effectiveness.
  • Work as part of a team, attend meetings, training events, and participate in supervision.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in engaging with children and young people in a similar role.
  • Ability to deliver mental health and wellbeing interventions.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Competence in recording and reporting data for evaluation purposes.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure (with barred children/vulnerable adults) is required.
  • Commitment to co-production with service users and collaborative working with partner organisations.
