About the Role - General Class Teacher - Tadworth, Surrey
- This school is seeking a teaching assistant who is open to working with children from age 6 to 16
- There will be an opportunity to discuss your strengths and which children, ages and needs are the best match for you both
- You will need to be resilient and dedicated
- You will receive on the job training including opportunities for CPD
- All staff receive full school holidays
- The school requires a well qualified teacher of English who has experience teaching in the UK
- At least one year experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Special needs or mainstream is essential
- Experience working in a SEN is not essential
- You will be required to work both one to one and in small groups
- You will have strong knowledge of effective relational behaviour management strategies for students with SEND, communication challenges, and complex behaviours
- You should have resilience, stamina, and adaptability with excellent interpersonal skills
- You should be enthusiastic to work as part of a team
- The suitable teaching assistant will have a proven ability to achieve positive outcomes for students
- Experience in assisting the teacher in creating engaging lesson and helping to contribute to curriculum development is essential
