Our client in the Tamworth area is seeking a Management Accountant/Bookkeeper for a permanent position.
Key responsibilities include completing VAT returns, managing client portfolios, and providing support to junior team members.
Candidates should be confident, reliable, and able to manage their own workload; experience with tax returns and statutory accounts is beneficial but not essential.
The role offers a salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 annually pro rata, depending on experience, and can be part-time or full-time.
AAT level 4 and practice experience are advantageous, and a valid driver's license is required due to the rural location.

Management Accountant/Bookkeeper

Our client based in the Tamworth area are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their team working on a permanent basis.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Complete VAT returns
Managing a portfolio of clients
Day to day bookkeeping
Dealing with any enquiries from clients via phone and email
Providing support and assistance to junior/trainee team members
Occasional client’s visits
Management accounts

The successful candidate will:

Be confident and reliable
Be able to meet deadlines and manage their own workload
Having experience in completing tax returns and statutory accounts is beneficial but not essential
AAT level 4 and practice experience would also be advantageous

This role can be part time or full time.

Salary is £28,000 - £32,000 annually pro rata, dependent on experience.

This company is located in a rural part of Tamworth, so being able to drive is essential.
