Mitchell Adam are thrilled to announce a new role for a Management Accountant in the Tamworth area. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional looking to settle in a business and grow. This is a global and ever-developing business, looking to boost their current finance team with a Management Accountant.

If you are an active and confident leader that is willing to help guide and motivate their team, then you will fit in well here. Previous experience in a similar role is essential as you will be amongst the most senior members of the team, meaning more junior members will look to you to lead. A large proportion of this role will include processing month end so proficiency in this is necessary. You will need to be a good team player with a positive attitude, as team satisfaction is an important factor for this business.

As this is a global business, liaising will stakeholders of all levels will be a crucial part of the role. Ideally you will have previous experience doing this confidently, or have the ability to do so. You will be reporting directly to the Financial Director but the overall management of your team will be in your hands.

What you'll need:

  • Knowledge or experience working with: logistics, supply chains and exports would be preferable but not essential.
  • Be actively studying towards your CIMA or ACCA qualifications, alternatively QBE applicants are also accepted as this business understands the value of experience.
  • Be proficient with the Sage financial system, this business has recently made the transition to using this system so previous understanding would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience managing and leading a team, this will be integral to your role here.
