Alexander Daniels are proud to be working with an business in Tamworth to recruit a Finance Assistant on a 6 month FTC. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and would suit someone who is eager to expand on their transactional finance knowledge.
Daily tasks will include:
- Maintaining the Purchase and Sales ledger.
- Daily bank reconciliation.
- Credit Control - chasing debtors.
- Ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Escalating discrepancies to senior management.
- Reconcile the receivable records with sales invoices.
- Additional ad hoc tasks and project work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years experience in similar role.
- Strong communication skills and good telephone manner.
- Ability to prioritise and plan workload.
- Good Excel and Analytical skills.
- A can-do positive approach to work with a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, established business and will benefit from a competitive salary up to £26,000.
