The Recruiting Co, acting as an employment business, are now looking to recruit Class 1 drivers for our client who is based in the Tamworth area. Our client have expanded their fleet of Class 1 vehicles and are now looking to grow their team of drivers.
Responsibilities:As a valued Class 1 Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of goods across the Midlands. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely and punctually transporting goods to designated destinations.
- Completing 2-3 drops per day plus collections.
- Utilising ratchet straps and internal straps for securing loads.
- No hand ball required, but as it is a customer-facing role, if support is required, please provide assistance.
Working Hours:various start times (24/7 operation) , averaging 12-hour days.
Location:Tamworth, Midlands.
Pay:£18.00 per hour Monday to Friday (Days), £19.00 per hour Monday to Friday (Nights), £20.00 per hour Saturdays and £20.00 per hour Sundays
Requirements for the Class 1 Driver:To excel in this role, you must have:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
- Minimum 2 years on the licence and one year's driving experience.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
