Class 1 Driver

StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 driver for a company based in Tamworth.

We are looking for highly motivated qualified night driver with all valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.

This is an ongoing opportunity.

Remuneration:

Monday to Friday PM - £20.54 - £21.87 per hour assignment rate through umbrella

Start time is 16:30 – 01:00 Monday to Friday night.

Responsibilities:

• This will involve trunking to Warrington and back and a quick trailer swap afterwards in Birmingham.
• There is no handballing involved, tipping duties will be included
• Arrive at customer/ delivery point, tipping light pallet loads
• Driving curtain side vehicles

Experience/Skills & Competencies:

• HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 2 years)
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Great communication skills
• Professional attitude
