People Solutions is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for a well-established client in Tamworth, Staffordshire, with a pay rate of £18.40 to £19.55 per hour.
The position requires at least 12 months of experience driving Class 1 vehicles and offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and progression.
The role involves Class 1 trunking, ensuring loads are secure, conducting vehicle inspections, and occasional collections from suppliers, with no handball involved.

Rates of Pay

Monday - Friday: - £18.40 Per Hour
Sat/Sun: - £19.55- Per Hour
Rates are PAYE with holiday accrued separately

Day to Day Duties

Class 1 Trunking – Depot to Depot.
Ensuring all loads are safe and secure.
Conducting vehicle inspections.
Occasional collection from suppliers when needed.
No handball involved.

Essential Skills

Valid UK Category CE / Class 1 Driving Licence
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Valid Drivers Qualification Card (DQC/CPC)
At least 12 months experience driving Class 1 Vehicles

Desirable Experience

Previous experience of temperature controlled loads.

What training is provided?

Driving Assessment required prior to starting.
