HGV Class 1 Driver - Weekend

*SATURDAY/SUNDAY WORK - 6+ MONTHS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - AGE 21+ - MUST HAVE TACHO/ DCPC CARD*

OnePlaceSolutions, The Midlands leading recruitment agency, is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers on a fixed term contract in the lead up to Christmas with a view to temp-to-perm next year!

Overview
We are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to work on a fixed term upcoming project based from the site in Dordon B78. The drivers would be working across or on any of the following 3 periods in the lead up to Christmas.

- All driving done within the working hours.

Duties:

• Loading lorry with the stock before leaving for the day (stock is already loaded, just needs putting onto lorry.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Travel to the hub and unload.
• Reload at hub and do trips back and forth between hub and local warehouse.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.

Experience:

• Must have 6+ months experience driving HGV Class 1.
• Must be ages 21+.
• Max 6 points on licence.
• Must have valid TACHO/DCPC card.
• Drugs + Alcohol test prior to start.

Pay Rate:

• Saturday and Sunday - £35.00ph
