This is an integral role in my clients operations in which daily setting activities are controlled so that service to production is maintained with tool changes and first offs in line with 'On Time In Full' (OTIF) principles.
You will work as part of a broader team of technical colleagues to methodically solve problems that arise during and after tool changes, focusing on machine uptime and high quality standard

Description
- Working in accordance with the company's health and safety and manufacturing practice
- Perform product changeovers, setups and run established tooling to the manufacturing specification
- Produce quality products in line with our customer expectations
- Machine safety checks and checks of equipment before use
- Machine housekeeping internal/external
- Process monitoring and control and inspection of ancillary equipment
- Ensuring that raw material waste is kept to a minimum
- Completion of all production documentation
- Complete work within required timescales.
- Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.
- Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management.
- Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality of parts produced.
- Operate Forklift Truck and lifting equipment.
- Be actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives.
- Ensure all personal protective equipment is identified, always available, correctly used and all associated problems are reported to management.
- Ensure all lost time, minor and trivial accidents are reported.
- Promote environmental issues and ensure all company procedures are understood and followed.
- Undertake special projects as required.
- Undertake continuous training and development.
- Take a full active part in all aspects of training
- Regular communication with team and shift manager
- Complete written and verbal handovers and the end/start of shift

Profile
You will be an experienced Setter/Tool Setter, ideally with experience working with Injection Moulding equipment, as well as:
- Able to set from scratch for new tooling
- Make on-going adjustments to maximise production& ensure quality is kept to a high standard
- Troubleshoot part issues
- Safe tool hanging experience
- Hands on approach to machine fault finding
