Business Development Manager Freight

Offering a basic salary of up to £45,000 per year, plus car allowance & bonus structure.

Based in Tamworth, but candidates will be expected to be on the road.

We are working with a leading Freight and Logistics organisation who offer solutions across Seafreight, Airfreight and International Roadfreight covering both imports and exports.

Seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to promote both Airfreight and Seafreight products and services, gaining new business accounts and managing key customer accounts.

The role of Freight Sales Executive will include conducting presentations, promoting and highlighting benefits of Airfreight and Seafreight services. You will also be responsible for leading rate and cost negotiations, ensuring updated SOPs are in place and all customers, both new and existing, are fully aware of the excellent range of freight forwarding services available.

This position will cover a territory of the Midlands, promoting Air and Sea Freight, Import and Export services.

Offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per year, with a full range of benefits to include a company car/car allowance, mobile, laptop and rewarding bonus scheme.

The successful candidate will be required to be motivated and have a target-driven approach to sales and business development, as well as being eager to increase business and win new business.

This candidate will have proven experience within sales and business development within the freight industry and possess an excellent knowledge of sea and air freight operations.
