As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in many aspects:

- Driving Sales: Exceeding revenue targets by positioning the company as the go-to supplier for energy research and material processing equipment.- Securing New Business: Identifying and targeting potential opportunities, resulting in measurable new customer growth.- Building Strong Relationships: Understanding customers’ unique goals and providing them with tailored solutions to meet their research or manufacturing needs.- Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Using your in-depth knowledge of science, engineering, and procurement to provide accurate and practical solutions to complex customer requirements.- Being a Ambassador: Representing the company at conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and exclusive industry gatherings.- Staying Informed: Keeping up with the latest trends in next-gen energy, advanced materials, and related technologies.- Collaborating Globally: Working closely with our international manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions backed by excellent technical support

Person Specifications

- Proven Sales Success: At least 2 years of B2B sales experience in a technical or scientific field. (We also welcome applications from early-career professionals suited to a Graduate Business Development Executive role.)- Scientific or Engineering Background: A minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field.- Passion for Change: A genuine interest in energy and material science, with a desire to contribute to groundbreaking discoveries.- Communication Skills: The ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and present our products with confidence and clarity.- Ambition and Drive: A self-motivated mindset focused on achieving and surpassing revenue targets.- Curiosity and Innovation: A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest technological trends, coupled with an out-of-the-box mindset for developing creative sales strategies.- Willingness to Travel: Regular travel to meet clients and attend events is a key part of this role, so time away from home should be expected.
