Our client is a well-established contractor and has a solid reputation in building services and compliance, with passive fire protection (PFP) forming a key part of their offerings. Looking to the future, the company aims to build an in-house team of specialist engineers to handle all PFP projects directly, moving away from subcontracting.
Currently, they focus on a wide range of commercial projects, including schools, Ministry of Defence sites, warehouses, and more, covering everything from new installations to remedial works and upgrades.
Role Overview:
- Position: Passive Fire Engineer (Installation & Remediation
- Salary: up to 38,000
- Location: Office based in the West Midlands, with projects across the West and East
- Work Hours: 40-hour standard workweek
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation and remediation works within existing building compartments, including:
- Batt/Mastic
- Fire Compounds
- Fire Curtains
- Fire Collars/Wraps
Work across various commercial and industrial environments, such as:
- Schools and Universities
- MOD and Military Sites
- Care Homes
- Warehouses and Factories
