CNC Mill/Turn Machinist

Contek Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a reputable precision engineering company, located inTamworth, West Midlands. Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking for a skilledCNC Mill/Turn Machinistto join the team on afull-time, permanentbasis.

PAY:19- 21per hour (Depending on experience)

WORKING HOURS:Monday to Thursday (07:15am until 16:15 PM) and Friday (07:15 am until 12:15 PM) - Flexible for the right person.

OVERTIME:Overtime is available consistently and is paid at time-and-a-half.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working on a Hermle C50 U Mill/Turn 5-axis machine.
• Programming using Siemens 840D & Siemens NXCAD/CAM software.
• Producing parts and components for the Defence, Aerospace, and Nuclear industries.
• Producing new workholding solutions.
• Meeting work deadlines and following 5S standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience within 5-axis CNC Mill/Turn machining is required.
• Previous experience using Siemens 840D is required.
• Previous experience using Siemens NX or a similar CAD/CAM system is required.
• A committed and driven approach to work.
