Press brake setter/ operator

Groomfield recruitmentare seeking a skilledPress Brake setter/operatorto join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the press brake machine to bend, shape, and fabricate sheet metal components.

Working hours- Monday - Thursday 7AM-4PM Friday 7AM-12PM

Salary-13.50-14.50

Duties:
- Set up and operate the press brake machine to bend sheet metal according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct bends and angles
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform basic maintenance on the press brake machine
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow

Requirements
- Prior experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in working with sheet metal and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to use hand tools, grind, assemble, weld, and fabricate metal components
- Familiarity with tooling setups for different bending operations
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations related to measurements and angles

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
