Winner Recruitments are currently working with a great company who are looking to recruit for a Press brake operator and setter to work within the production team and set and operate Amada brake Presses.

Role:

  • This role involves working as part of our production team to deliver high quality components, mainly for the rail industries, with a right first time philosophy
  • The candidate must have previous experience working with Amada brake presses.
  • The successful candidate will have to demonstrate that they can produce components from drawing / planning route cards to the highest quality, and within the routed time
  • Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team
  • Must be able to interpret technical drawings and use hand held inspection equipment such as height gauges and vernier calipers.

Candidate:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to read drawings
