The Role:

The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for a range of critical tasks.

  • Build and maintain relationships with Health and Safety teams of high-profile clients
  • Lead emergency responses to Health and Safety issues, ensuring corrective actions are communicated
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent recurrence
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections
  • Provide guidance on wellbeing, safety, and health matters
  • Collaborate with compliance manager and department heads to integrate safety practices
  • Ensure adherence to internal Health and Safety procedures
  • Develop and deliver Health & Safety training programmes

The Candidate:

The Health & Safety Manager should meet the following criteria.

  • Minimum of five years experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry
  • NEBOSH accredited
  • Strong knowledge of CDM health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK for site audits and inspections
