The Role:
The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for a range of critical tasks.
- Build and maintain relationships with Health and Safety teams of high-profile clients
- Lead emergency responses to Health and Safety issues, ensuring corrective actions are communicated
- Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent recurrence
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections
- Provide guidance on wellbeing, safety, and health matters
- Collaborate with compliance manager and department heads to integrate safety practices
- Ensure adherence to internal Health and Safety procedures
- Develop and deliver Health & Safety training programmes
The Candidate:
The Health & Safety Manager should meet the following criteria.
- Minimum of five years experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry
- NEBOSH accredited
- Strong knowledge of CDM health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK for site audits and inspections
