As an Office-Based Contract Manager, you will be pivotal in managing and coordinating multiple projects, ensuring seamless communication and efficient delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and building effective relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

  • Act as the first point of contact for your assigned projects, team members, and clients.
  • Conduct surveys, material take-offs, and pricing assessments to support project planning.
  • Liaise and schedule with direct staff and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Oversee the delivery of materials to multiple sites, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

Technical Support:

  • Assist in the design and estimation phases of all assigned projects.
  • Prepare Health & Safety documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Collaborate with the Carbon3 design team to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Address and manage defects or issues arising during and afterpost-installation.

Operational Management:

  • Coordinate material procurement in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Provide daily updates to clients and internal teams, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Complete and manage variation orders as required, maintaining budget and scope control.
  • Support revenue forecasting for your projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Oversee, train, and mentor apprentices and trainees, fostering their growth within the company

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in contract management or a similar role within the renewable energy.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including design, estimating, and execution.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in preparing Health & Safety documentation.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic project requirements and occasionally assist on-site.
