They are now on the lookout for an experienced Credit Controller to join their thriving in house Credit Control team. Oversee the full credit lifecycle, from assessing creditworthiness to managing aged debt.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve queries and ensure timely payments.
Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices, negotiate payment plans, and consistently reduce debtor days.
Conduct regular reviews of credit limits, ensuring compliance with company policies and minimising risk.
Prepare detailed reports on debtor performance, highlighting trends and risks for senior management.
Collaborate with internal departments and clients to resolve billing discrepancies effectively.
Identify and implement enhancements to credit control procedures, streamlining operations.

Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:

Demonstrated success in a credit control role, with a solid track record of achieving collection targets.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to handle sensitive conversations confidently.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
