They are now on the lookout for an experienced Credit Controller to join their thriving in house Credit Control team.   • Oversee the full credit lifecycle, from assessing creditworthiness to managing aged debt.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve queries and ensure timely payments.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices, negotiate payment plans, and consistently reduce debtor days.
  • Conduct regular reviews of credit limits, ensuring compliance with company policies and minimising risk.
  • Prepare detailed reports on debtor performance, highlighting trends and risks for senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and clients to resolve billing discrepancies effectively.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to credit control procedures, streamlining operations.

Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrated success in a credit control role, with a solid track record of achieving collection targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to handle sensitive conversations confidently.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
