Are you passionate about supporting young learners? We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Tamworth. This full-time position is available to start immediately and will continue until July 2025. The school is well-known for its nurturing environment and commitment to providing an exceptional education for all students.
The Role:
As a General Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment within the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Assist with classroom and behaviour management strategies.
- Provide targeted academic support to individual students or small groups.
- Help prepare materials and resources for lessons.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, contributing to the overall development and well-being of the school community.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school setting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- A valid DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Salary: Dependent on experience, training, and qualifications.
