People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Guillotine Operative to join our well-established client based in Tamworth.

Day to Day Duties
Your day-to-day duties as a Guillotine Operative with our client will be:
- Operate guillotine cutting machines with precision to cut materials according to specifications, based on written instructions via works order sheets
- Identifying faults during set up and fixing of faults relative to the order
- Completing paperwork and inputting details accurately on the system
- Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity
- Performing regular quality inspections and correcting quality issues as soon as they arise
- Ensuring work area is clean and tidy at all times
- Reporting defective machine parts
Essential Skills
Essential skills needed to be a Machine Operative with our client are:
- Guillotine operating experience
- Good attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Requirement to meet KPIs
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Training
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
