Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Personal Tax Manager, you will work closely with the Tax Partner and senior leadership team to oversee tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance and providing expert tax advice
- Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of complex personal tax returns
- Advising clients on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income tax planning strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor, developing and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, providing coaching, training, and support
- Keeping up to date with tax legislation changes and ensuring both clients and team members are informed
- Assisting clients with HMRC enquiries, investigations, and tax disclosures
- Identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and provide additional value to clients
- Collaborating with other departments to deliver an integrated approach to client service
- Driving business development initiatives, networking, and identifying new client opportunities
- Reviewing and improving internal tax processes to enhance efficiency and quality of service
- Representing the firm externally and contributing to its reputation as a leading tax advisory practice

Candidate Requirements- CTA qualification, with significant experience in personal tax compliance and advisory work
- A strong technical background, with expertise in capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income tax planning
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and providing high-level tax advice
- Confidence in dealing with HMRC, legal professionals, and external stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently

- £70,000 to £90,000 per annum
